Welcome to the Student Dormitory Council
At Carnegie Mellon University
The Student Dormitory Council serves as the student government body of the residence hall population and is an integral part of Carnegie Mellon's continuing efforts to improve the quality of campus life.
SDC works with Housing, Dining, and Student Life Administration to improve those aspects of campus life for the residents. We also own and maintain all recreational equipment in the residence halls, plan and implement campus-wide activities in addition to funding many residential and student life programs, and so much more!
General Body meetings are every Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m., in the University Center. See the spring meeting schedule for details. All students and Resident Assistants are welcome to attend the meetings for updates on ongoing campus-wide activities.
